Shipping & Returns Policy

Surplus Carts Shipping Policy: 

• Surplus Carts is not liable for any damages that occur during and/or from shipping. 

• In the event of damage during shipment, Surplus Carts must be notified of a claim same day.  Please email info@surpluscarts.com  

• Prior to accepting delivery, you must inspect the golf cart and all parts.  

• All damage must be documented via photographs and on the shipping documentation.  

• We ship Nationwide to all 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.  

Shipping Costs 

• State of Florida – $295 flat rate shipping 

• Nationwide (excluding Alaska & Hawaii) – $795  

• Cart Pick-Up in Lieu of Shipping: $100 

• You may schedule to pick your golf cart up at one our locations in Tampa, Fruitland Park, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Jacksonville or Orlando.  

• Select this option at check-out and we will contact you to confirm.  

Return & Cancellation Policy: 

• We do not accept returns or issue refunds on golf carts. No exceptions. This includes no refunds on shipping fees, administrative charges, credit card charges and any other additional charges made.  

• All deposits made either online, in person or via phone are non-refundable. 

• Prior to shipment, the invoice must be paid in full. If you made a deposit online, the cart will be held for 30 days. After 30 days, the cart will be returned to stock and you will forfeit the deposit if the invoice has not been paid in full.  

Our Shipping Process 

Once your invoice is paid in full, your golf cart is placed on the delivery schedule. If you added customization or “add-ons” to your golf cart, the delivery date will be provided to you at a later date. The below only applies to standard golf carts with no customization or add-ons. The process typically follows these steps: 

• Scheduling: Delivery schedules are arranged within approximately 3 weeks. 

• Notification: Once a route is determined, you will receive an email with your shipping date.  

• Delivery Confirmation: The driver will contact you the day before your cart is set to arrive. 

• Following this process, the golf cart will usually be delivered 2-3 weeks from the day you paid in full.

When it is time for delivery, please follow the below instructions:  

• Inspect your cart upon delivery for any visible damage. 

• Note any damages on the Bill of Lading before signing.
